About my family & pets

Doug, our second golden retriever named after the dog in "Up" Dug. He has that squirrel action going on and loved to fetch balls.

Favorite Vacation spot or destination

I have so many wonderful memorable experiences both with scouting for over 18 years (loved all the opportunities we had with the youth) and with my family. The one that had such a huge impact on me personally is a backpacking trip to Havasu Falls breaking my leg on the hike in, but continuing to hike in and stayed for 3 days before helicoptering out. I got to see some of the falls and would love to go back again to see the other falls I could get to with a broken leg.

How I spend my spare time

Spending time in my yard and with my family. Love arts and crafts when it moves me, working with jewelry and metal clay. Love exploring the outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, and camping.
